“Juggling & Clowning”
– A workshop for 9-12 year olds to discover the magic of circus and clown.
– Each class will run consecutively over four days for four hours each class.
– Each session will be divided in two blocks: one focussed in exploring different types of juggling, and the other one will be focussed in clowning theatre.
– Maximum of 15 students per course total.

Info
You will learn basic juggling techniques with 1 to 3 balls, and will be introduced to 5 other types of juggling. You will also be initiated to clowning theatre, and at the end of the workshop you will have gained knowledge of new circus skills and juggling tricks to further practice on your own.
What’s included
All the materials required for this course are included.
Tamariki will count with enough juggling balls to practice on their own and in pairs. They will play, practice and perform with the juggling materials provided. This workshop can last from one hour to a full day, and can be designed around your requirements.
Who
Sergio Aguilar is a professional circus performer and contact juggler. He graduated from Carampa Circus School, and did Professional Clown Studies in Spain. Ana Lorite will assist Sergio and participants. She is a professional puppeteer and a registered teacher in NZ. They both form Naranjarte.
